range City Square, a 394,000‑sq‑ft mixed‑use complex on 14.1 acres at 750‑840 City Drive, sold Dec. 19 for $89 million. MGR Real Estate of Ontario purchased the property, while the seller—unidentified and represented by Newmark—remained unnamed. “Its high‑quality construction, diverse tenants, and prime location make it a strong investment in a supply‑constrained market,” said MGR vice‑president Tony Hermosillo. CEO Michael G. Rademaker added that MGR will keep current operations, refine the tenant mix, and make selective upgrades.

    In May, MGR also bought the 269‑acre former Vellano Country Club golf course in Chino Hills. Terms were undisclosed, but the brokerage will update the clubhouse leased to Wedgewood Weddings.

    A 26,481‑sq‑ft creative office building at 18012 Cowan, Irvine, sold Dec. 2 for $9.2 million. Built in 1985 and renovated in 2020, the two‑story structure features subterranean parking, exposed ceilings, an open‑concept kitchen, an elevator to the garage, and four second‑floor patios. Bluetree Management LLC was the buyer. “This asset is a rare find in the competitive Irvine Airport submarket,” said NAI Capital executive vice‑president John Manion. The building sits near John Wayne Airport, retail centers, and the 405, 73, and 55 freeways.

    Kristi Allen, executive vice‑president of hotels at Ensemble in Long Beach, will chair the California Hotel & Lodging Association for 2026. She will lead a 33‑member board representing California’s $18 billion hotel industry and 235,000 employees. At Ensemble, Allen oversees a portfolio generating over $200 million annually and has served on the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and as former chair of the Downtown Long Beach Alliance.

    Maurice Nieman joined NAI Capital Commercial’s Investment Services Group in Orange County as executive managing director. With 35 years of real‑estate experience, he specializes in single‑tenant, multi‑tenant, and net‑leased sales. He previously held the same role at Savills North America.

    Ian Diaz, Tyler Gebauer, and Sean Harlow recently joined SRS Real Estate Partners in Newport Beach. Diaz and Gebauer were hired as vice‑presidents; Harlow as associate. All three came from Marcus & Millichap. Diaz and Gebauer will focus on industrial transactions; Harlow will handle commercial investment and leasing.

    Hanley Investment Group’s real‑estate arm raised $29,252 in its 15th annual Movember campaign, “Mo’ments in Time,” where team members grow mustaches to raise funds. Since 2011, the firm has contributed $429,092 to Movember, supporting research and education for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.
