Palm Beach Luxury Home Sales Surge Following Presidential Election Boost

Palm Beach sees surge in high-end sales with recent off-market deal for waterfront penthouse.

A
waterfront penthouse in West Palm Beach's Forté on Flagler has sold for its full $33.5 million ask in an all-cash, off-market deal that closed within six weeks. The 8,900-square-foot space comes with 2,000 square feet of outdoor area and was sold as a "gray box" to be fully customized by the buyer.

The sale is part of a broader trend in Palm Beach real estate, where home sales over $10 million have surged since November, increasing by 176% year-over-year. Condo sales over $5 million also saw significant growth during this period.

According to Douglas Elliman's John Reynolds, director of sales at Forté on Flagler, the renewed attention in Palm Beach is tied to Donald Trump's election victory, which has brought energy and stability to the market. The building, set to open next year, features a range of amenities including a pool deck, spa, gym, and private dining areas.

The sale of the penthouse comes as the higher-level unit remains on the market, asking $47.5 million with Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate.

Luxury home sales rise in Palm Beach post-election.
