ew Owners Take Helm of Lambertville's Boat House and Hamilton's Grill Room.
A trio of Philadelphia-area hospitality and real estate firms has acquired the Boat House bar and the adjacent shuttered Hamilton’s Grill Room in Lambertville, New Jersey. The sale, which closed on August 29, includes the transfer of each restaurant's liquor license to Refined Hospitality, Brickstone Realty, and Trax Partners.
Refined Hospitality, known for opening River House at Odette's across the Delaware River, is leasing the properties from real estate investor Trax Partners alongside Brickstone Realty. The Boat House will continue to operate under its current management with minimal updates planned by Refined Hospitality owner Ron Gorodesky.
"We will never change the Boat House," he emphasized, highlighting the bar's iconic status since its opening in 1980. The venue can accommodate up to 100 people and boasts a nautical-themed decor.
The group plans to transform the adjacent space previously occupied by Hamilton’s Grill Room into a new restaurant, set to open in mid-October. This new establishment will feature a simple and eclectic atmosphere along with an outdoor courtyard filled with greenery.
