Poetry Launches First Boston Boutique on Newbury Street

BOSTON—Poetry opens its first Boston boutique at 79 Newbury Street, a chapter for British brand known for style and craftsmanship.

P
oetry, the British label famed for timeless elegance and contemporary craft, has opened its inaugural Boston shop at 79 Newbury Street, a milestone in the brand’s U.S. rollout. The 1,400‑sq‑ft flagship welcomes visitors today, offering a space that fuses the brand’s artistic flair with understated simplicity. With a reputation for natural fabrics and clean lines, Poetry already enjoys a global presence in London and New York, and Boston now joins that roster.

Founder Luke Dashper welcomed the neighborhood: “Newbury Street’s vibrant energy and Boston’s artistic heritage make it the ideal home for Poetry. My passion for natural textiles and durable beauty drives every piece we create, and we’re excited to share clothes that feel effortless and timeless.”

The store showcases a seasonal range of women’s apparel and accessories, featuring minimalist cuts and enduring textures. Each item is made from silk, hemp, organic cotton, cashmere, alpaca, and linen, underscoring the brand’s commitment to sustainable luxury.

Dashper personally designed the interior, blending warm, natural materials: oak wood from Belgium in two subtle hues, an Italian Travertine marble cash desk, and custom carpets by London designer Christopher Farr. The result is a calm, inviting environment that encourages guests to linger, mirroring the relaxed sophistication of Poetry’s garments.
