Pryor Cashman Expands Real Estate Practice with New Partner Paul Proulx

Pryor Cashman Welcomes Paul J. Proulx as New York Office Partner

ryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Paul J. Proulx has joined the firm's New York office as a partner in the Real Estate Group and Land Use + Zoning Practice. Paul comes from Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP, where he advised top developers on complex land use and real estate transactions.

    With expertise in land use, zoning, and urban development matters, Paul advises clients on joint venture deals, site acquisitions, and dispositions. He has extensive experience navigating the New York City Zoning Resolution and Administrative Code, representing both buyers and sellers of development rights, and drafting restrictive declarations.

    As an urban planner, Paul has led teams in revising land use controls that shape development projects. He also provides counsel on New York tax incentive programs. "Paul's expertise will significantly enhance our real estate practice," said David C. Rose, managing partner of Pryor Cashman. "His mastery of both big-picture and technical details will add immediate value to our clients' projects."

Paul serves on the New York City Bar's Committee on Land Use Planning and Zoning.

    Paul received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy, M.S. in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, and J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He has a background in government and worked in-house at a hotelier and real estate development firm before entering private practice in 2006.
