A
luxurious penthouse in Long Island City's Skyline Tower has entered contract, marking a new record for the tallest residential building in Queens. Located on the 67th floor of 3 Court Square, Penthouse 406 boasts top-of-the-line amenities and panoramic views of Manhattan across the East River.
The unit was initially listed for $12,500 per month in November but returned to the market as an $11,500-a-month listing after a brokerage swap. The final lease price remains undisclosed, as is customary with rental deals. Skyline Tower, which opened in 2019, holds two superlatives: it's the tallest residential building in Queens and the second-tallest on Long Island.
The 1,547-square-foot penthouse features four bedrooms, three bathrooms (two of which are ensuite), and wraparound windows offering breathtaking views of New York City. Residents enjoy access to a range of amenities, including a doorman, concierge services, a rooftop deck, game room, pet spa, and 75-foot pool.
The Skyline Tower's reign as Queens' tallest residential building is set to end with the completion of The Orchard, an 823-foot tower under construction in Long Island City. Despite this, the penthouse's sale marks a new high for the building, surpassing a previous record of $11,000 per month set in October.
