high-end real estate agent, featured on the Netflix show "Million Dollar Beach House," was killed in a hit-and-run incident in the Hamptons. Sara Burack, 40, was struck by a motorist and left unconscious on a Hampton Bays road Thursday afternoon. The driver responsible remains at large.

    Southampton Town Police Detectives and New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit investigated the scene. However, police have not spoken to witnesses or obtained information about the type of vehicle involved in the incident.

    Burack was a former agent for Nest Seekers International, an upscale real estate agency in Manhattan and the Hamptons. She left the agency over a year ago but remained in touch with colleagues. Her former employer expressed condolences to her family and friends, describing Burack as a generous person who cared deeply about others.

    A close friend and fellow real estate agent remembered Burack for her kind spirit and fundraising efforts in New York City. Before joining the luxury real estate market, Burack worked in her family's commercial construction business and later managed summer properties in the Hamptons.

    Burack described "Million Dollar Beach House" as a glimpse into the lives of the wealthy and famous in the Hamptons, showcasing lavish homes, estates, and exclusive events. The show premiered on Netflix, featuring Burack and other high-end real estate agents competing for luxury listings.
