eregH, a one-month-old sports and entertainment real estate development firm, has bolstered its board with Ric Clark, former president, CEO, and Chairman of Brookfield Properties. Clark's expertise will help SeregH identify, invest in, and develop mixed-use projects adjacent to sports venues. With over 33 years at Brookfield, Clark grew the company from $5 billion to more than $200 billion in assets under management.
SeregH aims to bridge a gap in the sports industry by providing a comprehensive solution for teams seeking to build around their venues. CEO Jonathan Fascitelli says they will leverage Clark's experience and other board members' expertise to deliver the best possible outcome for teams, communities, and investors. The company is building an organization with full-time staff, including leadership hires to be announced soon.
SeregH plans to invest between $1 billion and $3 billion per project and guide them to completion, targeting over $100 billion in construction starts within 15 years. Fascitelli is working closely with the board, vetting investment opportunities and traveling to meet with sports teams and owners to present SeregH's proposition. The company has secured initial backing from CAA and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, and its board includes industry heavyweights like Kroenke Sports and Entertainment President Kevin Demoff and USA Network co-founder Joe Cohen.
