Realtor Fatally Struck in Beachside Hit-and-Run Crash

Man, 40, found unconscious with serious injuries in the Hamptons.

ara Burack, a 40-year-old luxury real estate agent who appeared on Netflix's "Million Dollar Beach House," has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Long Island in New York. According to the Southampton Town Police Department, Burack was found unconscious on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays early on June 19 with serious injuries. She was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

    The driver involved in the incident fled the scene and remains unidentified. Burack had a successful real estate career, which began after graduating from Franklin and Marshall College. She worked as an account manager and sales assistant before joining Nest Seekers, a luxury residential brokerage firm, where she specialized in leasing, buying, and selling properties in the tri-state area.

    Burack's appearance on "Million Dollar Beach House" in 2022 showcased her expertise in selling high-end properties in the Hamptons. In an interview ahead of the show's release, Burack shared her personal experience that led to her career in real estate: she had managed summer rentals and was intrigued by real estate projects.

    The Southampton Town Police detectives and New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit are investigating Burack's death, but currently have no eyewitnesses or suspect information.
