seasoned tech executive has joined Realtor.com as its new chief technology officer, bringing with him a wealth of experience in innovation and engineering. Janakiraman Karthikeyan, who spent two decades working in various industries, will lead the company's technology strategy to drive long-term growth. His expertise lies in embedding AI and machine learning into products and processes, as well as building high-performance teams.

    Realtor.com CEO Damian Eales expressed enthusiasm for Karthikeyan's appointment, stating that "technology is at the heart of our mission" and that his leadership will help accelerate innovation and strengthen the platform. Karthikeyan most recently served as vice president of technology at Chewy.

    Meanwhile, Bill Emerson, president of Rocket Companies, has announced his retirement effective year-end. With 32 years of experience in the company's family of businesses, Emerson has held various roles, including CEO of Rocket Mortgage from 2002 to 2017. He will remain on Rocket's board of directors after his retirement.
