ome sales in the greater Louisville area remained steady in December 2024 compared to the same month a year prior, with closed sales down about 3% year-over-year. According to data from the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, 1,047 homes sold in December 2024, compared to 1,019 in December 2023.
Median sales prices rose last month, reaching $275,000, up from $245,000 in December 2023. In the 40223 ZIP code, which includes areas such as Anchorage and Middletown, 23 single-family homes sold in December, with sale prices ranging from nearly $120,000 to $2.53 million.

* 9504 Meadowgate Court, Louisville: Sold for $270,000 on Dec. 13. This Lyndon neighborhood ranch-style home features a large living room and eat-in dining area, updated air conditioning unit and water heater, and a wooden deck and privacy fence.

* 1307 Glenbrook Road, Anchorage: Sold for $660,000 on Dec. 13. This 114-year-old Anchorage home is situated on over 1 acre and features a newly painted exterior, detached two-car garage, large yard, and side deck.
* 11300 Nutwood Road, Anchorage: Sold for $2,525,000 on Dec. 20. This luxury estate sits on nine acres and features multiple family rooms, a finished walk-out basement, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light, as well as a pool, clay tennis court, par-3 golf course, and carriage house.
