he top transaction this week is a home sale in Sleepy Lagoon Park. P.J. Marx, of Longboat Key, sold his property at 730 Penfield St. to 730 Penfield St. LLC for $1,675,000. The 1981-built house features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool, and 3,086 square feet of living space. It previously sold in 2014 for $700,000.
In Islands West, Christina Mary Reynolds, trustee, sold the Unit 4-A condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Raj and Nalini Sharma, of Longboat Key, for $1,575,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths, and 1,460 square feet of living area. The property previously sold in 2015 for $860,000.
A home in Queen's Harbour changed hands as well. William and Susanne Weber, of Sarasota, sold their house at 3563 Fair Oaks Lane to Richard and Amy Sarver, of Lutherville, Maryland, for $1.35 million. The 1996-built property features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool, and 3,544 square feet of living space. It previously sold in 2016 for $975,000.
The Privateer South also saw a sale. Jamile Peress, trustee, and Madeline Peress, of Great Neck, New York, sold the Unit 706 condominium at 1000 Longboat Club Road to William and Robyn Boedefeld, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for $1 million. The 1972-built condo has two bedrooms, two baths, and 1,409 square feet of living area. It previously sold in 1980 for $142,000.
In Sand Cay, Kathryn Lunt, trustee, sold the Unit 313 condominium at 4725 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Rodney and Pamela Sue Campbell, of Colchester, Illinois, for $800,000. The 1974-built condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and 1,120 square feet of living area. It previously sold in 1980 for $87,000.
