RFK Jr. Acquires Georgetown Residence

MAHA secretary joins Trump appointees boosting DC's luxury market.

I
n a move that echoes the influx of high-profile Trump appointees, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, has become the latest administration member to stake a claim in DC's luxury real estate market.

On Friday, Kennedy finalized the purchase of a stunning Georgetown townhouse, built circa 1900, boasting four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and an impressive 4,876 square feet of living space. The sale price? A cool $4.43 million. Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby's International Realty facilitated the transaction.

This acquisition marks Kennedy's entry into the exclusive world of DC's high-end homeownership, a club that has welcomed several other Trump appointees in recent years. Georgetown, with its rich history and storied past, is a fitting neighborhood for Kennedy, given his family ties to the area – JFK and Jackie Kennedy once called this very neighborhood home.

While it remains unclear whether Cheryl Hines, Kennedy's actress wife, will join him in DC, sources suggest she may be relocating from their California residence in Brentwood. This move could be motivated by a desire to shield her marriage from the fallout of Kennedy's high-profile sexting scandal with journalist Olivia Nuzzi last fall.

As Kennedy embarks on a MAHA tour of the Southwest this week, he'll be celebrating Utah's new law banning fluoride in public water supplies – a cause close to his heart.
