icky Martin has just sold his Upper East Side residence at 170 East End Ave for $6.15 million, according to Gimme Shelter. The four‑bedroom, 4½‑bath penthouse, which first appeared on the market in 2017 with an $8.4 million asking price, was last listed for $6.45 million in September. The buyer remains undisclosed.
The pop icon, who received MTV’s inaugural Latin Icon award last month, is currently touring with nine shows, including stops in Highland, California; Abu Dhabi; and Mexico City. Martin purchased the seventh‑floor unit in 2012 for $5.9 million.
Designed by Peter Marino, the 3,147‑sq‑ft home features an expansive living‑dining area framed by 10‑foot floor‑to‑ceiling windows and hardwood floors. The chef’s kitchen boasts custom Marino cabinetry. Two primary suites offer oversized walk‑in closets and spa‑style bathrooms, while a fifth room can serve as a bedroom, study, library, nursery, or media room.
Martin’s real‑estate portfolio also includes a mid‑century mansion on 2.37 acres in Beverly Hills, listed now for $49.95 million after a $75 million initial ask. The property, once owned by Michael Caine and the family of Doris Day, is represented by Carl Gambino of Compass.
The Upper East Side building, completed in 2008, overlooks Carl Schurz Park and the East River. The sale was handled by Compass agents Michael J. Franco and Miriam Richards.
