ore Real Estate Group of Rochester announced this week that seasoned banking professional Larry McGraw has joined the firm as an associate. McGraw spent 15 years with Rochester’s Home Federal Savings Bank—now part of Alerus Financial Corp. after a 2024 merger—where he rose to chief operating officer and specialized in credit and lending. His extensive experience in both commercial and agricultural finance is expected to strengthen Core’s service offering.
Founded in 2024 by Chad Behnken and Chris Terry, Core focuses on commercial real estate, leasing, and development across Southern Minnesota. “Larry’s depth of experience and long‑standing relationships across the region make him an incredible addition to our team,” Behnken said. “His insight into commercial and agricultural lending adds tremendous value for our clients and partners.” Terry added, “Beyond his professional expertise, Larry shares our commitment to integrity, collaboration, and community. We’re thrilled to welcome him and look forward to the impact he’ll make as we continue to grow.”
McGraw and his wife, Colleen, reside in Owatonna and operate a family farm near Decorah, Iowa, keeping him closely tied to the agricultural community. Core’s roster also includes Office Manager Sammie Davis and Associate Tyler Cain.
The announcement underscores Core’s dedication to leveraging local expertise and fostering strong client relationships in the region’s dynamic real‑estate market.
