n a surprising turn of events, Hollywood power couple Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have snagged a stunning Manhattan penthouse at a fraction of its original price. The six-bedroom Carnegie Hill residence, boasting 6,000 square feet of opulent living space, sold for $13 million this month - a mere $7.5 million less than its initial listing price of $20.5 million.

    The sale marks another sign of waning interest in Manhattan's pre-war co-ops, which were once the epitome of luxury living. The property, which features five terraces and eight balconies, boasts lavish interiors including six woodburning fireplaces, parquet floors, and an oak-paneled library. A separate staff room and two 132-bottle wine refrigerators in the kitchen add to its allure.

    Johansson, a Marvel franchise star and former world's highest-paid actress, tied the knot with SNL comedian Jost in 2020. The couple shares two children and has been on the hunt for a larger home since at least 2022. They were previously spotted eyeing a $23 million Upper East Side penthouse, which ultimately sold for $19.5 million.

    The family's new Carnegie Hill home is conveniently located just under 30 minutes from Jost's workplace at 30 Rock, where he's wrapping up his 20th year on Saturday Night Live. Johansson, meanwhile, is gearing up for the July release of Jurassic World Rebirth.
