Dave Perry‑Miller Real Estate has named Sean Hooper sales leader of its Intown office. The announcement came from Ebby Halliday Companies president Betsy Cameron and senior vice‑president of brokerage Malinda Howell.
Becky Connatser, who guided the Intown office for many years, is retiring. Cameron praised her leadership and mentorship, noting her lasting influence on the firm and its agents. “Becky’s dedication and excellence have shaped the Intown office immeasurably,” Cameron said. “We thank her for her service and wish her well in her next chapter. We are also thrilled to welcome Sean, whose experience, community ties, and advocacy make him an ideal fit to lead the office forward.” Howell added, “Sean combines business savvy, leadership, and genuine care. He respects our culture and is passionate about helping agents grow. His background and commitment reflect our company values.”
Hooper is a Dallas native and third‑generation family member who helped build the city’s restaurant scene. His relatives opened one of the first downtown Italian eateries, later expanding to six locations. A University of North Texas graduate, Hooper spent over twenty years in the garment and textile sector, traveling to more than twenty countries and negotiating with major global sports brands. He first entered real estate as an investor before moving to a full‑time career assisting clients with property goals.
Within the industry, Hooper serves as a director for the MetroTex Association of Realtors and Texas Realtors, and he actively participates in advocacy at local, state, and national levels to protect property rights and support professionals. He holds multiple designations—GRI, SRES, PSA, ABR—and is a Ninja Selling graduate. Hooper also serves as a TREPAC trustee for Texas Realtors, sits on the National Association of Realtors Public Policy Oversight Committee, and is a member of the Texas Realtors Public Policy Land Use Committee.
“I am honored to step into this role and build on the strong foundation Becky has laid,” Hooper said. “The Intown office exemplifies professionalism and collaboration, and I look forward to helping our agents continue delivering outstanding service to clients and the community.”
