linger, WI - The Kettle Recreation Center and Jug's Pub & Grill are almost ready to open their doors. Here's a sneak peek at the menu for The Kettle, managed by Dawn Jug.
The streamlined menu features pizza, dinner appetizers, and sandwiches. Take a look at this video from June 2025, showcasing the finishing touches on the remodel.
The Kettle boasts 12 lanes of high-end electronic bowling with impressive graphics, numerous game options, and interactive experiences for kids. One such feature is an audio effect that simulates a wolf howling.

The Kettle Recreation Center recently hosted a private event, where business owners Steve Kearns and Jason Jug tested out their new facilities with family and friends. The most striking change is the massive LED backscreen, measuring 7.5 feet high and 65 feet long. This digital display offers an array of games, atmospheres, and promotions.
The light shows are a highlight, ranging from underwater scenes to fire effects or cartoon balloons. Kids at the event raved about the new setup, calling it "sooooooo much fun!"
Other notable upgrades include bowling string pinsetters for faster setup and a high-energy atmosphere. The kitchen at Jug's Pub & Grill is equally impressive, with a separate area for Friday fish frys and a pickup window.
While the project is almost complete, there are still some finishing touches to be made, including the gaming area and bar. Both owners promise that the wait will be worth it - "Shortly..." they'll open their doors.
