Westwood-based Waldman & Associates secured the No. 11 spot, closing 12 transactions totaling 154,220 square feet. Founder Dan Waldman's personal performance placed his company among larger competitors. Coastal Commercial Real Estate of New Bedford, led by president Kevin Nery, followed closely at No. 12 with 10 transactions and 51,076 square feet sold.
Their inclusion on the list contrasts sharply with top firms like CBRE, Colliers, and Newmark, which operate with dozens of brokers and move millions of square feet annually. Despite this, Waldman & Associates and Coastal Commercial Real Estate demonstrate that experienced professionals can have a significant impact even when working independently.
The recognition is a notable achievement for Waldman and Nery, showcasing how personalized service, market knowledge, and hands-on leadership can rival the output of national brokerage powerhouses.
