elebrity real estate in South Australia has seen a flurry of activity over the past 12 months, with numerous high-profile sales and purchases. Here are some of the most notable transactions:

    Kayla Itsines, the fitness guru, sold her stunning South Australian home for $7.375 million in March last year. The property, which she bought in 2017 for $3.9 million, features a pool, gym, tennis court, and an open-plan kitchen, family, and dining room.

    Tobi Pearce, Kayla's former partner, sold his Adelaide penthouse for $5.1 million in September last year. The two-storey home atop the Realm skyscraper boasts stunning views of the city and features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a study, cinema room, wine cellar, and rooftop entertaining deck.

    Teresa Palmer and Mark Webber, the Hollywood power couple, sold their Adelaide Hills "sanctuary" in November last year. The property, which has been owned by the Palmers for over 30 years, features an infinity edge pool and spa, playground, native bushland, and a dam.

    Alex Carey, the Australian cricketer, successfully auctioned his Netherby home for $2.75 million in December last year. The three-bedroom home was purchased by a young couple who were among the highest bidders at the auction.

    Penny Wong, the Foreign Minister, splurged $3.4 million on her third SA home – a Gentleman's Villa located in one of Adelaide's most prestigious suburbs. The property features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious sitting room and formal dining room.

    David Speirs, the former opposition leader, has sold at least three of his investment properties in hush-hush deals. His Christies Beach unit sold for $475,000, while another unit in the same suburb sold for $408,000.

    Brad Newley, the Olympian and basketball royalty, sold his Adelaide townhouse at auction in July last year for $1.711 million. The property was purchased by Newley as a young guy in 2008 for $750,000 and features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area with direct access to the rear alfresco pavilion.

    Chris Harper, the professional cyclist, has been identified as the mystery buyer behind a record Hills land sale made late last year. The 2.4ha property comes with a shed, basketball court, and plenty of green space but no house.

    Tom Jonas, the former Port Adelaide captain, is selling his Norwood home through auction next month. The four-bedroom home features open-plan living and a sparkling inground pool just moments from some of the state's best restaurants and cafes.

    Sarah Marquis, the Mollydooker winemaker, is likely to sell her North Adelaide penthouse at a loss after dropping its price guide by $200,000.
