SSC launches new C3 professional development courses this October, plus the return of its popular Food Service program.

outh Suburban College (SSC) has expanded its Continuing, Corporate, and Community Education (C3) offerings for October, adding a new real‑estate course and reviving its popular Food Service Certification program. These classes aim to equip professionals with credentials and skills for growth in food service and real‑estate fields.

    **Applied Real Estate Principles – 45‑Hour Post‑Licensing CE**

    Fee: $249 (new)

    Designed for newly licensed brokers, this course covers essential industry topics to safeguard consumers and elevate professional standards. It runs from October 6 to November 11, 2025.

    **Introduction to Artificial Intelligence**

    Fee: $146 (new)

    An online, six‑week program that introduces the fundamentals of AI, offering 24 instructional hours for flexible learning.

    **Food Service Certification**

    Fee: $139

    This comprehensive safety course addresses sanitation, cross‑contamination, personal hygiene, contaminants, purchasing, pathogens, sanitation methods, equipment, and pest control. Successful completion qualifies students for the Illinois Food Managers License, valid for five years. Both scheduled sessions on October 20–21, 2025 require full attendance to sit for the exam.
