T
ryperion Holdings, a commercial real estate investment firm focused on middle market opportunities in the US, has announced the final closing of its Tryperion RE Fund IV with $163 million in total capital commitments. This fund significantly exceeds the $67 million deployed in its prior fund and has already committed 72% to various commercial real estate investments.

Tryperion's earlier funds have consistently performed well, ranking in the top quartiles of the Cambridge Associates Index. The firm's value-investor approach, which involves investing in less-loved opportunities that institutional capital may shy away from, has served its investors well across market cycles.

"We're not afraid to invest in areas where others are hesitant," said Jeffrey Karsh, Founder and Managing Partner of Tryperion. "Our team brings a sophisticated institutional approach to the fragmented world of sub-institutional investing."

TREF IV's investors include prominent institutions such as a top 20 university endowment, family offices of notable investment industry veterans, and Andrew & Peggy Cherng, founders of Panda Express.

Tryperion Holdings was founded in 2013 and specializes in value-driven real estate strategies across the capital stack and property type. The firm has invested over $2 billion in assets across the US to date.
