he Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University's College of Business will host a joint panel event on November 19th, 2024. The fall luncheon, "Communities Before and After New Multifamily Development - Exploring Empirical Data," aims to address Long Island's housing crisis by bringing together industry experts to share their perspectives on the future of multifamily development.
Panelists include Cristopher Capece, president of Heatherwood Luxury Rentals; Peter Curry, partner at Farrell Fritz, P.C.; Kyle Strober, executive director of Association for a Better Long Island; and Deirdre O'Connell, CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. David Pennetta, executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield L.I., will moderate the discussion.
The event will take place at Heritage Club at Bethpage on November 19th, with registration starting at 11:15 a.m. and the luncheon beginning at 12:15 p.m. Registration is available online through the REI website.
