Tech giant acquires massive Sunnyvale headquarters for $100+ million

Tech company pays over $100 million for Sunnyvale office and research campus.

A
tech company with ties to Nvidia and Apple has acquired a large office campus in Sunnyvale for over $100 million. Ingrasys Technology USA purchased the 26.3-acre site near East Arques Avenue and Oakmead Parkway for $128 million, according to documents filed with the Santa Clara County Recorder's Office. The seller was veteran Bay Area real estate firm Lane Partners, which had bought the campus in 2020 for $104 million.

The campus consists of six buildings totaling 313,700 square feet, enough space for up to 1,500 workers. Ingrasys designs and develops products for artificial intelligence systems, network communications, and cloud-based data storage, including computer servers and storage systems. The company is owned by Foxconn, a leading electronics manufacturer that produces products for companies like Apple, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.

Fujitsu previously occupied the campus before Lane Partners acquired it in 2020. However, Fujitsu has since relocated to nearby offices, leaving the site vacant. Despite initial plans to redevelop the property as a modern tech campus, the Bay Area office market's downturn and slow return to the office have hindered development efforts throughout the region.
