alton Global has sold 126 acres of land in the Lake Ridge Parkway Master Plan, situated between Cedar Hill and Midlothian. The buyer plans to develop the property in stages as part of a 400-acre community, which is expected to deliver over 800 homes. The land straddles Dallas and Ellis counties, with 300 acres in Midlothian and the remaining portion in Cedar Hill.
The deal marks one of several transactions closed by Walton Global in recent months. In December, the company sold 930 acres near Austin, San Marcos, and Fort Worth, and also acquired 141 acres in Rhome with D.R. Horton as part of a master-planned community called North Star.
Cities south of Dallas, such as Midlothian and Cedar Hill, are experiencing growth, driven by developments like Google's $600 million data center and new retail projects. In contrast to the growing demand for residential land, thousands of acres in Ellis County have been listed for sale, including a 5,900-acre tract near Waxahachie.
