Texas REALTORS Reveals 2024 Real Estate Award Honorees

Texas REALTORS Celebrate Members, Local Associations at Winter Meeting in Austin.

exas REALTORS celebrated members and local associations at the 2025 Winter Meeting in Austin. The Texas REALTORS Awards honored individuals who have demonstrated remarkable dedication and excellence in real estate.

    The 2024 Texas REALTOR of the Year was Cindi Bulla, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience. She has made significant contributions to the profession and her community, serving on various advisory groups and committees at national, state, and local levels.

    Robert Wright received the Distinguished Service Award for his 45-year commitment to the REALTOR organization and his community. Kent Redding was honored with the Good Neighbor Award for his volunteer work with Mobile Loaves and Fishes, connecting the chronically homeless with life-changing resources.

    Shelyna Tinglin was recognized as Educator of the Year for her exceptional work on the Texas Real Estate Commission Education Standards Advisory Committee and the Collin County Area REALTORS Board of Directors. Adrian Arriaga received the inaugural Richard Miranda Global Achievement Award for his leadership in global real estate, representing high net worth Spanish-speaking investors.

    Three local associations were recognized for their exemplary educational programs: San Antonio Board of REALTORS (innovation category), Houston Association of REALTORS (marketing category), and Austin Board of REALTORS (legal category). Danielle Tucker Shepard was honored with the Series or Short Program of the Year award, while Gilbert Gonzalez received the Tom D. Morton Award for his outstanding leadership as an association executive.

    Collin County Area REALTORS was recognized with the Mark Lehman Governmental Affairs Achievement Award for its outstanding performance in fundraising and grassroots efforts. Jeff Varnell was named Grassroots Advocate of the Year, highlighting his dedication to engaging with elected officials on policies affecting real estate.

    Local associations that received the Diversity Recognition Program Award promoting diversity and inclusivity in the real estate profession included Austin Board of REALTORS, Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS, and others. The Young Professionals Network honored six members under 40 with the REALTORS to Watch Award for stand-out leadership and community involvement.

    Recipients of the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist Scholarship were also recognized: Porsha Burns, Lorena Decanini, Audrey Munoz, Hanayya Shah, Aaron Sowemimo, Shonda Strives, Narcippa Teague.
