n 2011, Thomas Maas joined Landmark Credit Union’s commercial banking arm, then staffed by six people handling under $200 million in loans. The unit now approaches $2 billion in outstanding credit, supported by more than 60 staff, 19 of whom are lenders. As senior vice‑president of the commercial real‑estate group, Maas charts the division’s lending strategy and manages two team leaders and 11 lenders. He has steered projects such as the Fox Valley expansion, construction financing growth, and talent cultivation. Adam Newman, EVP of business services, praises him as “highly regarded, knowledgeable, reliable.” Maas mentors, belongs to the Wisconsin Realtors’ Commercial Association NAIOP Wisconsin, volunteers with United Way Feeding America.
