T
hompson Thrift, a nationally recognized real estate company and leading multifamily developer, has ranked fourth on the Indiana Business Journal's Largest Commercial Real Estate Developers list for 2025. This marks their third consecutive appearance, following a fourth place ranking in 2024 and seventh in 2023.

"This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering high-quality developments that make a meaningful impact," said Dan Sink, president and chief financial officer of Thompson Thrift. "As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to creating lasting value in the communities we serve."

The IBJ ranking is based on total square feet completed or under construction in 2024. For Thompson Thrift, this included over 13.5 million square feet across 10 states, with 89% representing multifamily developments and the remaining 11% industrial and retail properties.

Last year, the company made significant progress on several projects, including the $750 million expansion of Fishers District outside Indianapolis and starting construction on 2,659 multifamily units across Florida, Georgia, and Colorado.

Thompson Thrift has invested over $6 billion in local communities since its founding nearly 40 years ago. The company is a full-service real estate development company focused on ground-up residential and select mixed-use development across the country.
