JX Cos. is expanding its corporate footprint with the acquisition of two buildings near its headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts. According to CoStar Group, the company will add over 156,600 square feet of space for home office operations.
The new additions bring TJX's total space in the area to over 1.15 million square feet, including a 450,000-square-foot building at 550 Cochituate Road purchased in 2019 as part of a $120 million portfolio deal. The company has been steadily growing its markets, adding 222 new stores in the first nine months of its fiscal year, ending Q3 with 5,057 locations across several countries.
TJX is also expanding internationally through strategic investments. It recently completed a joint venture with Grupo Axo, S.A.P.I. de C.V., gaining a 49% stake in the enterprise for $179 million. The company has also invested $344 million in Brands For Less (BFL), a Dubai-based off-price retailer, and plans to enter Spain's market with its TK Maxx banner in early 2026.
