he median house price in New York is nearing $600,000, prompting many residents to seek more affordable options elsewhere. For those who haven't made the move yet, a new list from GOBankingRates might be just what they need.

    Using data from Zillow and the US Census, the company has compiled a list of America's fastest-growing suburbs with home values under $500K in 2025. Stockbridge, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, tops the list, with a staggering 24.18% increase in population over two years. The average home value in this area is a relatively affordable $303,705.

    Located just 35 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Stockbridge offers easy access to outdoor recreation and is one of only two Georgia suburbs on the top 50 list. Other Southern and Southwestern states dominate the list, with many residents from the Northeast and West Coast seeking more affordable options.

    Texas features heavily, with 13 locations making the cut, including Tascocita, a suburb of Houston, which comes in second place. Kyle, a suburb of Austin, rounds out the top three, with an impressive 16.15% population increase over two years. The average home value in Kyle is $323,917, making it one of the most affordable neighborhoods in the city.

    Other states represented on the list include Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana. Westfield, a suburb of Indianapolis, has seen a surge in residents drawn by an average home value of $482,509.
