S President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Steven C Witkoff as special envoy to the Middle East, with the goal of bringing stability to the region. In a statement, Trump praised Witkoff's business and philanthropic expertise, saying he will be "an unrelenting voice for peace." As chairman and CEO of Witkoff, established in 1997, Witkoff has developed over 70 properties across major commercial areas worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. Prior to founding Witkoff, he co-created Stellar Management Company, transforming numerous residential properties in New York City. Witkoff's experience also includes practicing property law at Dreyer & Traub and Rosenman & Colin, representing significant developers and investors. He has held various leadership roles, including chairman of the University of Miami Business School Real Estate Advisory Board and trustee for the Intrepid Foundation.
