avid Ryan Linden, the former CEO of Silver State Health Services, appeared in court on Friday to face embezzlement charges. Alongside 53-year-old real estate investor Rich Kiran Saga, Linden allegedly stole over $2 million in federal grant money intended for healthcare services in Las Vegas. The funds were meant to support indigent individuals.
According to a Department of Justice release, between June 2019 and April 2022, Linden and Saga conspired to steal SSHS's money by funneling it into their own bank accounts. They then used the stolen funds to purchase commercial real estate properties.
A federal grand jury indicted both men on May 13, 2025, charging them with various crimes including conspiracy, theft of federal program funds, and money laundering. If convicted, they face up to 121 months in prison. A jury trial is set for December 2 this year.
