T
he ULI Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate—ULI’s premier global hub for decarbonization, resilience, and health—welcomes three new board members: Jackie Knight, Julie Manning, and Anupam Yog.

The Lewis Center drives sustainability by fostering leadership, sharing best practices, tackling land‑use challenges, and shaping policy. Its vision is a net‑zero, resilient, healthy, and inclusive world where all thrive. Working with ULI members and partners, the Center delivers actionable guidance, immersive learning, technical assistance, and leadership networks. The Advisory Board, chaired by A.J. Jackson of Leo Impact Capital, guides the Center’s priorities and members serve three‑year terms.

    **Jackie Knight**

A Twin Cities real‑estate developer and investment fund manager, Knight is president of Ackerberg. She steers company strategy, vision, and values, reinforcing Ackerberg’s sustainability commitments. Knight chaired the 2025 ULI Awards for Excellence Jury, served on the national NEXT leadership, the Urban Revitalization Product Council, and ULI Minnesota committees. She is active in the Lewis Center’s Health Leaders Network, which deepens understanding of real‑estate‑health links. “Developers are key to healthier, more sustainable, and equitable communities,” she says. “This focus yields stronger communities, lower operating costs, and greater public support.” She looks forward to advancing the Center’s mission.

    **Julie Manning**

Manning is LaSalle Investment Management’s global head of sustainability, a chartered accountant who joined LaSalle in 1997. She helped launch the Lewis Center’s Greenprint Program, which assists companies in meeting environmental goals through shared data and insights. LaSalle and ULI collaborate on resilience research, providing climate‑risk data to the industry. “Sustainability and resilience drive asset performance,” Manning notes. “Transition and physical climate risks are essential for global asset managers.” She is eager to build on LaSalle’s partnership with ULI and the Lewis Center on the Advisory Board.

    **Anupam Yog**

Yog founded XDG Labs in Singapore, a research firm focused on healthy communities. Originally from India, he champions placemaking that uses data to design holistic, well‑being‑oriented environments. Yog has been instrumental in establishing ULI’s presence in India, serving on product councils and awards juries in the APAC region. An alumnus of the Health Leaders Network, he believes “city design and the built environment shape health and well‑being.” He is excited to contribute to the Center’s work on real‑estate and land‑use solutions.
