eolia, a leading provider of environmental solutions in the US and Canada, has inaugurated its new North America headquarters at 100 Federal Street in Boston's historic Financial District. The office, situated on the third floor of the iconic First National Bank Building, will accommodate approximately 150 employees and serves as a testament to Veolia's commitment to the City of Boston and the broader New England region.
The company has operated dozens of facilities and employed hundreds of workers in the area for nearly a decade, previously based at 53 State Street. The new space is designed with environmental sustainability and collaboration in mind, reflecting Veolia's global GreenUp strategy. The layout features a mix of individual workspaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas aimed at enhancing interaction and employee comfort.
"We're excited to establish ourselves as an employer of choice in Boston," said Bob Cappadona, President and CEO of Veolia's Environmental Solutions and Services business. "This new office will allow us to tap into the region's robust workforce and engage with local talent." The company celebrated its grand opening on June 26, marking a significant milestone in its growth strategy.
Veolia operates across New England, managing water and wastewater systems in all six states and providing energy efficiency programs aimed at decarbonizing buildings. The company also offers advanced hazardous waste management services through partnerships like MassBio. Recent acquisitions have expanded Veolia's footprint in Massachusetts, positioning it as a leading operator of medical and household hazardous waste facilities in the state.
