ietnam's government has given the green light to a $1.5 billion development project by the Trump Organization and its local partner, Kinhbac City. The massive undertaking will cover 990 hectares in northern Vietnam's Khoai Chau district and include a sprawling golf course, residential areas, commercial spaces, and parks. Spanning an area equivalent to 336 American football fields, the project aims to transform the region into a luxury resort destination.

    The investment decision was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, according to VN Express newspaper. The project's start date is set for this year, with completion expected in 2029. This development comes as Vietnam prepares to negotiate trade agreements with the US to avoid tariffs on its exports, which were recently increased by President Donald Trump's administration.
