he Town of Waterbury is seeking a lessee for the former ambulance service building located behind the Highway Garage at 1727 Guptil Road. The building will be shared with Waterbury Backcountry Rescue, which will occupy one garage bay and an office. The available space includes a second garage bay (approximately 40'x12.5', 11' ceiling height) and the main office area (approximately 40'x21', 9.5' ceiling height).

    The Town will cover utilities and snow removal, while the tenant is responsible for cleaning, internet, garbage service, and any necessary interior renovations to support their operations. Proposals should be submitted by June 6th via email to Thomas Leitz at [email protected].

    Proposals will be evaluated based on two criteria: the tenant's contribution to community vitality and the lease rate paid to the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject proposals that may negatively impact Highway Department or Waterbury Backcountry Rescue operations, or pose an undue burden on town staff.
