hite Marsh Mall has been sold to Spinoso Real Estate Group for $190 million, according to CoStar Group Inc. This acquisition marks a significant change in ownership for the property, which was previously managed by Brookfield Properties. Spinoso confirmed that it took over as receiver of the mall in January 2023 and has since secured several new leases, including Brow Bar salon, Original Pancake House, and GNC.
The company expressed enthusiasm about its new role, stating that it looks forward to making a positive impact through leasing, property management, and marketing. With three anchor stores - Macy's, JCPenney, and Boscov's - and 134 specialty shops, White Marsh Mall remains one of the largest regional malls in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Built in 1981, the mall has undergone changes under Spinoso's management, aiming to revitalize its presence in the community.
