A
New York City real estate agent, George Spyridakis, had accused Zillow of charging fees for rental listings that were no longer visible on StreetEasy. The lawsuit claimed that StreetEasy continued to collect $7 per day from agents even after removing their listings from public view. In some cases, this meant multiple agents were being charged for the same property while only one was displayed. Spyridakis alleged Zillow's practice of showing only the most recently posted listing masked or removed other valid listings. The case against Zillow was dismissed with prejudice on May 14 in U.S. District Court Western District of Washington in Seattle, but details about the settlement were not disclosed.
