Nexum Group AG, a company active in residential property development, has strengthened its development expertise. This is part of the preparation for the operational implementation of its existing project pipeline. The company has successfully recruited Mr Rainer Kunze as Technical Project Manager and Senior Project Developer. This appointment follows the previous establishment of the group's investment and financing structures and aims to specifically expand operational capacities for the next development phase.
Mr Kunze will be responsible for the technical preparation and realisation of projects in the future. His appointment is intended to significantly expand the Nexum Group's operational implementation expertise for upcoming residential property projects. He possesses almost thirty years of experience in residential construction and in technical project development and management. As a graduate civil engineer from the Technical University of Munich, he has overseen a variety of residential construction projects in different development and execution phases throughout his career.
Before joining the Nexum Group, Mr Kunze served as Technical Director at Ehret+Klein. There, he was responsible for restructuring project development, project management, and leading a 21-member team. Further professional positions include senior roles as Senior Project Manager at Concret Capital Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG, as well as at BPD Immobilienentwicklung GmbH and JK Wohnbau AG. This curriculum vitae underscores his comprehensive expertise in the construction industry and technical project development.
Philipp von Erffa, CEO of Nexum Group AG, commented on the appointment. He emphasised that with Rainer Kunze, a proven expert in technical project development has been secured. His extensive experience in project management, construction supervision, and technical leadership is crucial for the consistent and swift implementation of Nexum Group's projects. Strengthening this competence represents a logical step in the transition from investment review to the realisation of initial projects.
The Nexum Group pursues a development model designed for short capital commitment periods. The focus is on residential property projects where the main planning and permitting risks have largely been mitigated. Following acquisition by the Nexum Group, financing, development, and subsequent marketing take place. The aim is to reinvest the capital released after project completion into new projects. By expanding its development division, the Nexum Group is creating the necessary personnel and organisational conditions to progressively convert its existing pipeline into operational projects.
The Nexum Group's current project pipeline comprises residential property projects with a total development volume of more than one billion EUR. A significant portion of these projects are under exclusivity and are on the verge of implementation. For the fourth quarter of 2026, the Nexum Group intends to notarise its first project acquisitions, which would mark the beginning of the operational realisation phase.
