Premier Inn continues its expansion course in Germany. With the commissioning of the property in Halle (Saale), the hotel chain reaches a significant milestone. The property marks the 75th branch in Germany and simultaneously represents the first location in Saxony-Anhalt. This development underscores the strategic expansion of the company's presence across Germany.
The newly opened Premier Inn Hotel in Halle (Saale) features 113 guest rooms, including 21 Premier Plus rooms. For business needs, a boardroom is available for meetings. Additionally, the hotel offers a terrace with outdoor seating. An underground car park with 55 spaces is also part of the offering, serving guests' convenience.
The hotel is centrally located in Halle/Saale, near the opera house and within walking distance of the historic old town. The transport links are advantageous, particularly the proximity to Leipzig, the Leipzig Trade Fair, and Leipzig/Halle Airport. These conditions make the location ideal for both business and leisure travellers. The local proximity to Martin Luther University also contributes to a dynamic environment. Architecturally, care was taken in the design of the facade to ensure harmonious integration into the urban environment, adapting the building visually to the surroundings of the opera house and the cityscape.
The building is distinguished by special constructive features. Due to a hillside location, an unusual construction method could be realised. This means that both the access roads to the underground car park and the main entrance of the hotel are accessible at ground level, although they are on different floors. A further special feature arises from its accessibility: depending on the access side, the building can be addressed under different street names.
Erik Friemuth, CEO Premier Inn Germany, described the opening of the 75th hotel as a special moment, signifying not only the development of an attractive new location but also securing their presence in Saxony-Anhalt. He emphasised that this milestone underscores Premier Inn's growth momentum and its goal of offering excellent value for money and restful sleep. Saalesparkasse acts as the owner of the property. Dr. Jürgen Fox, Chairman of the Board of Saalesparkasse, expressed his conviction that Halle gains a new flagship for international guests with this hotel. He stressed that the Sparkasse's investment contributes to positive urban development and strengthens the revitalisation of Halle as a travel destination through Premier Inn Halle.
