RQI Immobilien AG, a nationwide real estate investor and partner for family offices focusing on portfolio optimisation, portfolio development and use conversion, has undertaken a significant expansion of its shareholder base and a strengthening of its Supervisory Board, both in terms of personnel and expertise. These measures are being taken against the backdrop of current market conditions, which are opening up opportunities particularly in portfolio developments, use conversions and restructurings.
RQI's existing shareholders decided to deliberately broaden the company's capital base and raise additional equity capital for this purpose. Professor Dr. Nico Rottke and a high-net-worth individual from the Rhine-Main region, who are among the founding shareholders, are now joined by another private investor from Southern Germany. This serves to further strengthen the company for its upcoming development phase.
Supervisory Board Restructuring
Parallel to the capital expansion, the Supervisory Board has been reorganised. Alexander Krautkrämer, formerly Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, has taken over the leadership of the body. He succeeds founding chairman Professor Dr. Karl Hamberger, who accompanied RQI during its establishment and market entry phase. This personnel change aims for further deepening of expertise and strategic alignment.
Two other personalities are strengthening the Supervisory Board. Professor Dr. Christian Rödl brings particular expertise in the areas of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family businesses, and consulting. He represents internationally oriented consulting and auditing activities with a special focus on upscale SMEs and family businesses. Furthermore, Thomas Hegel is a member of the Supervisory Board. He contributes his many years of experience, especially from the fields of residential real estate, capital markets, and publicly listed companies. Mr. Hegel was CEO of the listed LEG Immobilien AG for many years.
Through the expansion of its shareholder base and the strengthening of its Supervisory Board, RQI Immobilien AG is creating the organisational and capital foundations for its upcoming growth phase. The company focuses on investments in real estate portfolios where sustainable value creation potential can be identified and unlocked through repositioning, use conversion, and restructuring. RQI is thus positioning itself as an active portfolio developer in a market environment that increasingly requires operational real estate expertise and entrepreneurial capital.
