Satisfyer | GESKE, an internationally active beauty-tech company, has concluded a long-term lease agreement for a prominent space on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. The lease concerns a former Merkur arcade, which is characterised by its central location and thus represents an attractive site for the tenant's undertaking.
The new flagship store will be realised on a usable area of almost 700 square metres. This generous space allows for the development of a comprehensive concept, which is intended to go beyond the brand's already established, design-oriented and high-quality shop design. The brand is known for its innovative design and premium brand presentation.
Strengthening Presence in Hamburg
The current expansion on the Reeperbahn is part of Satisfyer | GESKE's increased presence in the Hamburg urban area. Earlier this year, two additional locations were leased on Mönckebergstraße and in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, situated in HafenCity. This strategic expansion underlines the importance of the Hamburg market for the company.
Satisfyer | GESKE products have received numerous awards and are internationally recognised for their quality and design. The Hanseatic family owning the Reeperbahn property expressed delight at the new tenant and sees Satisfyer | GESKE as a suitable occupant for the property. The transaction was facilitated by Procurator Immobilienmanagement from Hamburg, which brought both contracting parties together and provided advisory support during the subsequent contract process.
Development Perspectives at the Location
The chosen site on the Reeperbahn offers considerable potential for an exceptional overall concept. The central location and the size of the unit enable comprehensive brand staging. This can contribute to further profiling the brand within the retail segment.
