STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH plans to start letting a new-build project on Dröpkeweg in Berlin-Neukölln in August 2026. The undertaking comprises the creation of 53 rental flats, which are entirely subject to the housing development subsidy regulations of the State of Berlin. The offering ranges from one to five-room flats, thereby accommodating various household sizes, from individuals to couples and families.
This project serves to expand the provision of affordable housing in Berlin by STADT UND LAND. The seven-storey new building is being constructed on a plot of approximately 2,141 square metres at Dröpkeweg 9 in the Buckow district. The total living space amounts to around 3,726 square metres. Completion of the flats is scheduled for mid-October 2026, with occupancy available from December 2026.
Project development and financial aspects
The project was developed and realised in cooperation with KIMAVI and Ten Brinke. Ten Brinke, a family business active in the residential and commercial property sector for over 120 years with a presence in Germany and Europe, contributed its expertise in implementing ambitious housing construction projects. This supported the provision of much-needed affordable housing.
The rents for the subsidised flats range between 7.00 EUR and 11.50 EUR per square metre. This price range contributes to Berlin's supply of affordable housing options.
Location and infrastructure
The location on Dröpkeweg offers future tenants good infrastructural connections. Several bus lines, including lines 172, 744, and M44, are within walking distance. Furthermore, the federal highway B96, the city motorway A113, and BER Airport are quickly accessible.
