STAYERY, a hospitality brand headquartered in Berlin, intends to expand its presence in the German real estate market by establishing a first location in Munich. The expansion aims to tap into the Bavarian capital as an economic and tourism hub. For this purpose, an existing apartment building owned by OPES Immobilien Gruppe at Oberwiesenfeld 7 will be leased and converted into a STAYERY establishment by early 2027. Upon completion, the property will comprise 105 design apartments for short and long-term stays.

Location and Accessibility

The future STAYERY location is situated on Moosacher Straße in the Moosach district, directly adjacent to Olympiapark. This location is designed as a starting point for business trips, event visits, and city breaks. The Oberwiesenfeld underground station on the U3 line is directly in front of the building, ensuring a direct connection to Munich city centre. The immediate vicinity to the Olympic Stadium, the Olympiahalle, and the SAP Garden makes the location ideal for guests attending concerts or sporting events.

For business travellers, the proximity to BMW and other corporate locations in northern Munich is significant. The transport links via the A9 motorway and Frankfurter Ring allow for direct arrival by car without having to cross the city centre.

Concept and Amenities

The building, constructed in 2018, will be adapted to STAYERY's design standards within three months as part of the conversion. Across approximately 3,850 square metres, 105 apartments will be created, divided into three categories and ranging in size from 17 to 30 square metres. All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, a living and working area, and are designed for stays from one night up to six months.

On the ground floor, a communal area typical of STAYERY complements the private apartments. This includes a lounge, a co-working space, a guest laundry, and a self-service kiosk. The operational concept integrates a digital self-check-in with the availability of personal on-site contacts.

For its market entry in Munich, STAYERY is collaborating with OPES Immobilien Gruppe. OPES Immobilien Gruppe focuses on the development and long-term retention of valuable properties. The project in Munich represents the tenth conversion project and the fifth acquisition of an existing hospitality operation for STAYERY. The brand plans to realise further locations in central areas of Munich.
