The initiative 'Die Wirtschaftsmacher' will in future assume organisational and communications leadership for the nationwide Tag der Logistik. Through this merger, the traditional day of action and the industry initiative's existing campaigns will be brought together institutionally. Both institutions are pursuing the declared aim of sustainably strengthening the reach and public perception of the entire logistics sector.
As the initiator of diverse marketing measures, Die Wirtschaftsmacher will in future coordinate communications work from a single source. In addition to the actual day of action, this also applies to joint appearances at international trade fairs such as LogiMAT and transport logistic. Key thematic priorities are to be developed uniformly and disseminated in a targeted manner via established media formats. This creates a central point of contact for companies, associations and cooperation partners regarding participation formats and information offerings.
Strengthening external perception and industry profile
With the organisational merger, those involved intend to effectively leverage communicative synergies. Alongside purely economic key figures and operational performance, reporting will focus primarily on skilled workers and career development opportunities within logistics.
The realignment coincides with a milestone in the industry's history: on 15 April 2027, the Tag der Logistik celebrates its twentieth anniversary. The event format was founded in 2008 by the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) and has since established itself as a Europe-wide showcase.
As part of the anniversary event in April 2027, industrial, retail and logistics companies as well as academic institutes will once again provide insights into their facilities, both directly on site and via digital presentations. The programme includes free site tours, presentations and in-depth specialist forums.
