At the beginning of July 2026, Park & Pay ensured the organisation of parking spaces during the open-air weekend at Schlossgut Altlandsberg. As part of this event, which included concerts with Belmondo & The Dark Side Ensemble as well as the Moka Efti Orchestra with Benno Fürmann, the company implemented temporary car park management for approximately 350 parking bays.
This implementation illustrates the possibility of professional, user-friendly and economic management of car park space, even with a usage period of just a few days. Instead of structural alterations or the installation of permanent infrastructure such as barriers or ticket machines, Park & Pay relies on a pop-up solution based on its Free-Flow technology. This involves the provision of camera systems and information boards, allowing the temporary car park to be operational within a short period.
Efficiency and Flexibility for Organisers
Fabian Höft, Managing Director of Park & Pay, emphasised that the advantages of the barrier-free Free-Flow technology become particularly apparent at events where parking spaces are only temporarily required. He highlighted that organisers, municipalities and local authorities receive a solution that can be set up quickly, operated cost-effectively, and used easily by visitors. This enables predictable temporary car park management without extensive construction work or complex infrastructure.
Many organisers are confronted with the challenge of managing increased visitor flows on temporary sites during the festival and event season. Conventional parking systems are often too complex, cost-intensive, or structurally unfeasible in such scenarios. Park & Pay offers a flexible alternative here, as parking spaces can be set up at short notice, managed digitally, and dismantled after the event without permanent impact.
Broad Range of Applications
The deployment at Schlossgut Altlandsberg underpins Park & Pay's position as a provider of modern and flexible car park solutions. The system is suitable not only for large-scale music events and open-air concerts, but also covers a broad spectrum of temporary uses.
- —City festivals
- —Municipal events
- —Sporting events
- —Markets or temporarily used alternative spaces
Höft added that car parking is an integral part of the visitor experience at events. A functional arrival, orientation, and parking facility relieve organisers, local authorities, and guests. The developed pop-up solution is designed precisely for this purpose.
