As part of the German Brand Award 2026, the Tertianum brand was recognised with the "Winner" predicate in the "Excellent Brands – Real Estate & Property" category. This award underscores the consistent brand development of a company that has operated as an established provider in the premium senior living segment in Germany for over 25 years. The German Brand Award, initiated by the German Design Council, is one of the most significant accolades for brand management in German-speaking countries.
The submitted entries are evaluated by an independent expert jury comprising professionals from business, science, communications, brand strategy and culture. Tertianum, a brand of the Berlin-based DPF Group, pursues a comprehensive longevity approach. The concept combines sophisticated living ambience with extensive services, refined cuisine, a diverse cultural programme and individual support for residents.
The residences, located in Berlin, Munich and Konstanz, among others, are tailored to the needs of seniors who wish to lead an active life, enjoy cultural offerings and continue to participate in social life. Tertianum places importance on ensuring residents have a self-determined environment over a long period. Felix von Braun, Managing Partner of the DPF Group, stated that residents consciously choose the residences and find a suitable home there. The identification and trust of residents in the brand are the most valuable form of recognition.
Continuous Brand Development and Engagement
The history of the Tertianum brand began at the end of 1999 with the opening of its first residence in Konstanz. Today, the portfolio includes Tertianum Premium Residences and Tertianum Suites at various locations. The guiding principle "Life knows no age" forms the strategic basis of the brand philosophy. In the past 25 years, more than 1,500 residents have opted for Tertianum's offering.
The DPF Group has continuously developed its brand over the years. This is evident in intergenerational projects as well as cultural activities and collaborations. These include formats such as "Student in Residence" and the "Generation Dinner", as well as cultural events with thousands of artists and collaborations with renowned partners, including Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue. These initiatives shape an understanding of senior living that places openness, cultural impulses and social participation at its core.
A total of 1,676 projects from 18 countries were submitted for the German Brand Award 2026. The official award ceremony took place on 25 June 2026 at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin. Felix von Braun, Managing Partner of the DPF Group, and Amelie Drews, the company's Director of Marketing & PR, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The honour confirms Tertianum's positioning as a defining brand in the German premium senior living market.
