AIF Capital Group, administrator of the public AIF Anspar FLEX Fonds 2 geschlossene Investment GmbH & Co. KG, has concluded a new lease agreement in the Laichingen retail park. Textile specialist Wäschekrone, known for products in the hotel and catering sector, took over a space of almost 410 square metres in the town's industrial area in Baden-Württemberg on 1 August 2026. The lease agreement has a term of five years.
In the new premises, Wäschekrone will open a factory outlet aimed directly at private customers. The range includes bed linen, terry towels, mattresses, bedding, slatted frames, and kitchen linen. According to Heiko Szczodrowski, CEO of AIF Capital Group, Wäschekrone represents an optimal addition to the existing retail offerings in the Laichingen retail park. AIF Capital Group expressed its pleasure at welcoming the regionally rooted company into its tenant base.
Matthias Wagner, Managing Director of Wäschekrone, commented on the conscious investment in their home location of Laichingen. He stated that the modern premises offer ideal opportunities for a high-quality presentation of the product range and for creating a pleasant shopping experience for customers. The opening to customers is scheduled for September of the current year.
Background of the location
The retail park in Laichingen comprises a total area of 3,365 square metres for retail and gastronomy and has 100 customer parking spaces. The property was acquired in 2017 for Anspar FLEX Fonds 2 geschlossene Investment GmbH & Co. KG. Its location in the industrial area at the entrance to Laichingen, a town in the Alb-Donau district, is considered to have good transport links.
Existing tenants of the retail park include a fashion shop, a bakery, a restaurant, a food discounter, and a cash machine from a local bank. The commercial space newly occupied by Wäschekrone was previously leased to a shoe shop. AIF Capital Group was advised and supported by Pier Investment Partner and Aston Ten Brinke in the leasing of the space.
