Cushman & Wakefield has announced the expansion of its leadership team in Office Capital Markets. Valeria Naumenkova will take over as Head of Office Capital Markets Berlin & Region East from 1 October 2026. She will operate from the Berlin office and report directly to Daniel Sander, Head of Office Capital Markets Germany. This appointment underscores the company's focus on strengthening its market position in the capital region and the adjacent eastern federal states.
Parallel to this role, Naumenkova will assume the newly created position of Principal Strategic Accounts Germany. In this capacity, she will be responsible for the comprehensive support of strategically important clients for the company. This dual function signals a strategic realignment in client engagement and retention, aimed at deep market knowledge and individualised advice.
Professional Background and Strategic Importance
Valeria Naumenkova possesses extensive expertise in the real estate sector. Prior to her renewed tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, she held leading positions at Quantum Investment GmbH and Quest Investment Partners. She was previously part of Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets team in Berlin between 2015 and 2018, which represents continuity in her professional career and highlights her familiarity with the company's structures and objectives.
Daniel Sander, Head of Office Capital Markets Investment Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, commented on the appointment. He emphasised that Valeria Naumenkova brings profound expertise in the Capital Markets sector, from both an investor and advisor perspective. This qualification enables her to initiate and implement goals and projects in the Berlin capital region and the eastern federal states.
Simon Jeschioro, Head of Capital Markets & Investment Advisory Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, added to the strategic importance of Naumenkova's involvement. He stressed that as Principal Strategic Accounts Germany, she will become part of the Strategic Accounts Team for regional key clients.
