XPartners, a Swedish corporate group, has entered the German market with the support of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. This expansion was realised through the acquisition of Corall Ingenieure GmbH, a leading planning office for preventive fire protection. The transaction represents a strategic step for XPartners to expand its international presence.
The acquisition of Corall Ingenieure GmbH marks the establishment of the first German partner company within the XPartners Group. Corall Ingenieure GmbH specialises in preventive fire protection and accessibility planning and generated revenue of approximately EUR 7 million in 2025. This step provides XPartners with a substantial starting point for building and expanding its platform in the German market.
Strategic Expansion in Key Markets
Germany is the second international market XPartners has entered outside the Nordic countries. This follows its market entry into the Netherlands in early 2026. This expansion reflects the company's continuous growth strategy, which has been supported by the private equity firm Axcel since 2023. Since Axcel's involvement, XPartners has recorded significant growth and now comprises almost 90 entrepreneur-led partner companies.
XPartners' partner network generates a combined annual turnover of approximately SEK 5 billion, which equates to around EUR 450 million. XPartners identifies significant market opportunities in Germany, particularly due to the increasing demand for planning and engineering services. This demand is primarily driven by infrastructure modernisation projects and the requirements of the energy transition.
Comprehensive Legal Support by Luther
The Private Equity team of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, led by Philipp Glock and Dominique Kurtz, provided comprehensive advice to XPartners during its market entry into Germany and the execution of the transaction. The advice included corporate structuring and implementation, as well as all other legal aspects relevant to the expansion and acquisition. The Luther team's specialisation in buy-and-build strategies was crucial for guiding the process.
